The 63rd annual Grammys went underway last night and, let’s just say, there were some interesting fashion choices from the celebrities in attendance.
However, all eyes are on one outfit in particular…
That of pop music icon, Taylor Swift.
Despite being the first woman to win Best Album of the Year, all anyone can talk about is the thirty-one-year-old’s “questionable” choice of dress.
But first, let’s take a look at some of the other eye-opening fashion statements from the event, starting with the best dressed of the night…
The silver chains and lilac silk look ethereal and beautiful.
Crystals and burgundy velvet shouldn’t work, but it does.
Love everything about this!
Megan Thee Stallion.
She could make anything look good.
Why not go all out?
Loving the decadent colors in this suit.
Those hairclips are a stroke of genius.
We have to respect dressing as Prada bags.
Staying just on the right side of the iconic Halloween costume.
Another showgirl inspired look – but we don’t hate it!
We love these clashing prints.
Simple and effective in black leather and big, big hair.
Or should we say Big Shawl?
Now that’s how to do drama.
Sure, it’s a little dull – but it works!
Props for sprucing up the conventional tux.
We admit, the hat is a little stupid – but we still kind of love it?
Substituting a top for a bunch of necklaces is a power move.
But we’re not loving all of the outfits from the star-studded evening…
Sorry to say we’re feeling distinctly underwhelmed by this.
You can’t just throw a butterfly net over a poorly fitting nude slip and call it a look.
A craft project gone wrong.
Those tan boots are just unforgivable.
A truly horrible color.
How not to do a high low hem.
Somehow both dull and overly fussy.
Kind of looks like she’s wearing her bedsheets?
And, last but not least…
We have Taylor Swift.
Now, Swift’s outfit choice is perhaps the most-talked-about from the entire event…
Never change, Twitter.
Anyway, here’s the incriminating dress in question.
We have to admit, it’s nowhere near as awful as we’d anticipated.
And for a close-up…
It’s actually beautiful!
However, the dress did rip under the arm halfway through the evening.
Not that Swift cared, though – she rocked that wardrobe malfunction.
